- 1 cup raw almonds soaked
- 1/2 cup dates soaked
- 4 cup filtered water
- Pinch of salt
Before you can make almond milk, you'll need to soak the almonds and dates for 8 hours or overnight.

When you're ready to make the almond milk, drain the liquid from the almonds and place them into your blender or Vita Mix. Then add dates along with the liquid in which they soaked.
- Add almonds (Drained)
- Add dates and liquid. (Do not drain)
Pinch of Salt
Just a pinch of salt is all that's needed to bring out the rich nutty flavor of almond milk.

Secure the top on your blender and start the blending process on a low setting to break the almonds and dates into smaller pieces.

When almonds and dates are in smaller pieces increase blender setting to high. The mixture will turn a creamy color. In a powerful blender such as a Vita Mix blend for about 1 1/2 minutes. If you're using a smaller, less powerful version it will take longer.
